Thanks for all the concerns about our location near the Yushu earthquake. Our location is suitably far off that it did affect us at all. This site is in a serious earthquake zone though. In the early part of the last century a quake did serious damage to the grottoes causing major damage, some ceilings and murals were destroyed then, but not this time.
