media and design projects coordinated and produced by the media development studio
and will feature weekly posts by NUAMPS video specialists, photographers, web and
interactive developers, and designers.
This move is part of NUAMPS’ continuing exploration of broader social technologies to
understand how those tools can serve the academic and research community. Just as the
iTunes Music Store and RSS feeds allow NUAMPS to reach a much wider audience, the
blog is intended to connect with a broader community. NUAMPS expects that the blog
will also reach a different type of community. While the group has an online presence
through its website (https://mediadesign.it.northwestern.edu), the blog will target those
interested in the process and intentions behind projects.
