We ended the busy week for the video group with an orchestral and choral delight! Saturday nigth at 7:30 PM we started off with Ottorino Respighi’s, Pini di Roma (Pines of Rome) and Carlisle Floyd’s, “Ain’t it a Pretty Night?” from Susannah. Following an intermission we delved into the epic and powerful Carmina Burana, by Carl Orff.
We shot the rehearsal Saturday morning to get some B-roll for the piece, and that night we captured the event in its entirety. It has been crazy week for the elves, and we couldn’t think of a better way to end it. The Northwestern University Symphonic Choir and Symphony Orchestra were outstanding and we are excited to start editing the piece to send to the Big 10 Network.
