Northwestern Documentary Premieres

March 7, 2012, 4PM, “Controlling the Fire: The value of the bead in Ghana” will have it’s premiere Northwestern screening. This was a project co-produced by NUIT with faculty from Anthropology and History. Willian Gblerkpor, one of the featured scholars in the film will add a commentary after the film, as will other academic experts. The film making team will be present after the 30 minute documentary screens; Kearsley Stewart, David Schoenbrun and Harlan Wallach. The Film was directed by Harlan Wallach, from NUIT, and features Stefani Foster’s work as the lead videographer.
