The Women’s Health Science Program

NUAMPS is proud to announce the launch of the website for the Women’s Health Science Program for High School Girls and Beyond.  The program, which aims to engage small cohorts of high schools girls of all races and ethnicities from Chicago in authentic, hands-on learning experiences, offers four science academies: Oncofertility Saturday Academy, Cardiology Summer Academy, Infectious Disease Summer Academy, and the Physical Science Summer Academy.

The Women’s Health Science Program (WHSP) site provides information about the four different academies, including latest news about the program, printable curriculum materials, and access to the WHSP Portal.  This portal allows program participants, faculty, and alumni to learn about and communicate with others in the program, as well as access program materials and curriculum information.  This project features a specially developed application enabling access to restricted areas of the site through Facebook.
