Speaking of locations, if you find yourself navigating the many locations around Chicago that are participating in The Festival Of Maps and find yourself at the exhibit of Rare Antique Maps of Africa at the Northwestern University Library, you could see this video assembled by the NUL’s Claire Stewart about the production process to develop the extraordinary high resolution online version of this same collection as it is available from the Library website. This was the first really large collaborative NUL/NUIT AT NUAMPS project specifically developing a resource from within one of the special collections here at the Library.
You can view the collection as it appears on the library website or find out more about our high resolution digital facilities.
