Real quick post as I run out to yet another walkthrough for yet another shoot – this past weekend the video group documented the fall opera of the Northwestern School of Music. Thing is, this time it was actually two operas: “The Medium” and “The Old Maid and the Thief.” We shot in Lutkin Hall on Northwestern’s Evanston campus, on four Sony HVR-Z1U HDV cameras. I’ve attached a couple screengrabs of the video – the 3-shot one is sort of a pre-viz of the editing style I have in mind for “Old Maid.” But we’ll see how that goes.
