Today AMPS attended CanvasCon at Northwestern joining over 250 instructors and staff from Midwest Higher Ed and K-12 institutions. From Instructure, CanvasCon is, “our opportunity to bring together educators, technologists, and leaders from K-12 and higher education to learn about and discuss new strategies and innovations in education technology”.
The day kicked off with Welcome remarks from Sean Reynolds, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Northwestern University. Followed by a keynote from Mitch Macfarlane, SVP Product and Customer Experience at Instructure. Both set the tone for the inspiring and innovative technology practices we would hear about throughout the day.
There were a lot of outstanding sessions at CanvasCon with everything from product announcements to technical deep dives into features to case studies.
