Alex Miner of NUIT A&RT AMPS (left), Jacob Collins of NUIT A&RT Software Development Group (right) and Richard Goodrow of the NU School of Communications (middle) arrived in Portland, Oregon yesterday for DrupalCon Portland 2013. Upon arrival, the three set out a plan to divide and conquer, each selecting different sessions that they could take notes on and bring back to their workflow at NU. At the end of each day, the information gathered will be shared amongst all three in hopes to get the most out of the DrupalCon experience.
There are 3 topics of focus in which NU is looking to learn more about: Workflow Efficiency in Drupal, Developing APIs in Drupal and Responsive Design and and User Experience in Drupal. Some of today’s sessions on these topics are highlighted below:
- Development, by the Numbers
- Using Backbone.js with Drupal 7 and 8
- Secrets to Awesomizing your Editor’s Back-end Drupal Experience
- Status of the New Entity API and Typed Data
- SAAS, Drupal Services and Oauth
- Scalable and Modular Architecture for CSS
- Drupal without Barriers – Accessibility is About Access and Enabling
