As Mike mentions in the post below, we’ve had a pretty incredible set of events to support & attend over the past week. Several times we’ve been running simultaneous support, but always we’ve been setting up in one place, tearing down in another, bringing in our own camera crews, collaborating with other crews, patching and switching from all campus webcasts to overflow to direct streams. The back end of this process, where all the front end video from all the glamorous emotional events looks a little different…

2:00pm – The Graduate School Hooding Ceremony @ Cahn Auditorium
Single camera overflow feed to Fisk 217 only, no streaming
June 17
10:30am – 153rd Commencement @ Ryan Field
UR commercials- Pickup shots on Ryan Field
TRIO provides audio and video feed
Live Flash streaming for on-campus and off-campus viewers
NU will host up to 2400 off-campus viewers (2400 viewers will reach the available outgoing bandwidth to Level3 and Cogent, ~ 1.6Gbps)
Akamai will provide streaming beyond the first 2400 connections
Overflow rooms on campus will view live Flash stream (Norris, Pick Staiger, Cahn, Tech Ryan Auditorium, Coon)
4:00pm – SESP Convocation @ Cahn Auditorium
