My name is Katie Onuma and I just started Monday as a new “Digital Media Specialist Associate” for Nuamps. My main focus is going to be the Woodruff Enterprise. I worked as a freelance designer and developer for Nuamps last year and I enjoyed it thoroughly…thus I am excited to be back and working with everyone again.
A little background on me:
My hometown is Bloomington/Normal. I graduated from Bradley University in 2009 with a degree in Multimedia. Since graduating I’ve professionally worked with State Farm Insurance Creative Services, The Iona Group, Northwestern Nuamps, Phenom Features, The Stone River Group, and I’ve done freelance work for several other companies and organizations.
Aside from web work, I also do freelance photography shoots and I worked on an independent movie last summer called “Using.” I hope to eventually pursue a career in film/tv post-production….most likely the visual effects/motion graphics area. I’m taking classes for that right now too!
When I’m not doing something related to the computer…music is my biggest love, as well as reading, and traveling.
I’m looking forward to another great experience here 🙂
