We’re proud to announce the launch of Science Club, an after school program led by Dr. Michael Kennedy, who NUAMPS has worked with on Northwestern’s Science in Society . The club was designed to to engage middle school students in science through fun, hands-on activities, with Northwestern undergraduate and graduate students serving as mentors.
Among the features that we’ve built out for the site is the incorporation of Picasa gallery photos within the site’s Journal section, where students post pictures and comments on experiments conducted at the club. We’re excited to see all the experiments in the journal and how the community grows.
