Northwestern University — Apple Developer Programs Knowledge Base

Northwestern University centrally manages two Apple Developer Program memberships on behalf of the institution. This knowledge base explains the programs, the services available, and how to request what you need.

Programs We Manage

Program Purpose
Apple Developer Program Publish apps on the App Store, distribute via TestFlight, sign Mac apps with Developer ID
Apple Developer Enterprise Program Distribute internal-use only apps directly to Northwestern employees via MDM or secure internal systems

Both memberships are managed centrally by Northwestern IT. Individual developers and departments do not need to purchase their own memberships.
