We are overJOYed to be celebrating with Multicultural Student Affairs and the class of 2017 at the Journey of Our Years event today! “The Journey of Our Years, or The JOY, is our way of recognizing and celebrating all of NU’s Black graduates” (Multicultural Student Affairs, 2017). This beautiful and energetic ceremony had the true feeling of a celebration about it, woven throughout moments of deep reflection, personal and collective purpose, and thankfulness.
