Yesterday we recorded the first of three Heilborn lectures by Professor Andrea Ghez, Professor of Physics & Astronomy and Lauren B. Leichtman & Arthur E. Levine Chair in Astrophysics, University of California, Los Angeles.
Professor Ghez spoke about Unveiling the Supermassive Black Hole at Center of our Galaxy. She had several fascinating animations featuring decades of data collection on star movement. Over 100 people attended the event in Tech F160.
