NUIT A&RT AMPS has built a new website for the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Research, to host and publicize their research efforts and publications, which launched this afternoon. This new site will act not only as a resource portal for serving up the department’s publications, but also as a hub for news, events, and information on projects & investigators at the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Research.
Featured among these resources is the Colon Rectal Cancer Screening Toolkit, a bundle of publications used worldwide which is served in multiple different languages from the site. This CRC Compendium has received a great deal of international attention and has been put into use by medical institutions across the globe. It now has a new home from which it can be globally accessed by the general public.
This new site was built fully responsively in Drupal 7, featuring content update subscription options for visitors, integrated faculty profile information dynamically pulled from Northwestern Scholars, and built on top of Apache SOLR for easily guiding visitors to relevant resources using a faceted search engine.
