The Seventh Annual Oncofertility Conference is underway and we’re downtown recording and streaming the event. Oncofertility is a field concerned with the fertility implications of cancer treatment and the solutions to these issues. It is a highly important and consequential topic, impacting not only the treatment and family future of cancer patients, but as we heard today, their identity. In her opening remarks, Teresa Woodruff discussed the goal to eliminate oncofertility by solving the core issues addressed by the field. I know I am not alone in looking forward to a future in which cancer treatment no longer endangers fertility, and this chance will come about due to the efforts of professionals around the world, many of whom are attending this conference!
