The NUIT & SCS MOOC production teams collected on the Evanston lakefront for an afternoon of good food, fine drink and some fun and relaxation in the midst of our intense production schedule. We’ve been working together remotely for a while splitting the tasks for the Coursera MOOC development currently underway here at Northwestern. The SCS team is primarily located on the Chicago campus. and we’re primarily located on the Evanston Campus so this was a chance to share bio-proximity and conversation as well as fried chicken, salads, grilled veggies and sausage. The rain held off and we had a fine time. Prof. Todd Murphey, one of the faculty we’re working with, joined in for the food and company.
