Jeff Smisek, President and CEO of United Airlines, 2011 Patterson Lecture Series speaker for the Northwestern University McCormick Transportation Center, spoke to an audience of several hundred in Leverone Auditorium this evening.
He spoke on a range of topics including cleaning up and improving client services while at Continental Airlines, current efforts at United to become more efficient, addressing rising fuel costs, more wireless enabled services such as notifications for late baggage as well as Internet capabilities during flight – at the right price point of course.
