We’ve been involved with working with Chinese cultural institutions for well over ten years, and particularly the Dunhuang Academy, from Dunhuang, Gansu.
Six members of the grotto digitization team have arrived for an intensive ten day trip. The picture above was snapped just a couple of minutes after they got off the plane at O’hare. We’ll be working with them in our university studio, in professional shooting arrangements, and in museums and galleries during this period. After having made dozens of trips to work with them there, we’re excited to be hosting them here in Evanston. Expect some regular updates over the next few days.
