For a year NUAMPS has shot the majority of our video productions in High-Definition Video, resulting in spectacularly sharp images. Of course, much of the wonder of HD is lost when we compress the video for the web. So we’ve decided to try something. We’d like for you to see what we see.

Because the initial 9mb HD Stream was so well received, we’re pushing the experiment further. Introducing our 25mb HD video stream. For a limited time we will be testing the streaming of 1080i video originally captured in HDV. The HDV 1080i MPG hour long repeating program features an excerpt from the NU Opera Department’s recent production of “Cosi Fan Tutte”, another excerpt from Professor Kenneth Janda’s 2006 Constitution day Lecture, and the original NUAMPS award winning documentary ” Art Seymour : Solo Performance” in its entirety. The documentary is screening as an official entry at this week’s Newport Beach Film Festival.
